Teachers are not working class. They may be underpaid, but it's a fucking degreed, accredited profession.

HAHA do you know *any* teachers? Because I’d say probably 30% of my friends/relatives are teachers & let me ASSURE you, “working class” is an optimistic way of looking at it- did you know most degreed, accredited teachers have to work a 2nd job during the year or over the summer?

You actually didn’t or you would have said yes or no. But I suspect you didn’t because you know it would sound ridiculous to say someone who makes $35K/year with a PhD is upper class because they’re highly educated.
