During my pension review a couple years ago, I met with a review doctor for 30 minutes. She asked “How are you feeling today?” I responded by saying “I’m doing pretty good.” 2 weeks later I got a letter saying they were removing PTSD from my ratings and reduced my pension 30%.
I had to appeal my case in front of a board. I whipped out a photo of the head of a suicide bomber who jumped on a humvee at my checkpoint and said “This is something I think about at least once a day. Fuck all of you.” They reversed that shit so fast.
There’s absolutely nothing normal about warfare. You send 20-something-year-olds to a foreign country to kill poor brown people, you better cut those fucking checks if they need help. The defense budget is $700B. Sending Billy $700/month isn’t breaking the DoD’s bank.
I truly can’t believe any veteran or current serviceman would still support this sad excuse for a commander in chief. He only lies that he supports the military because he wants a shiny tank parade as he tears benefits away left and right.
Nothing is more important to some people than their racist and/or homophobic ideals. They will give up their own best interests to make sure anyone they don’t deem fit is oppressed.
