DON'T even think about going into their dms and ask for an arc of their book. Authors get a VERY limited supply of them and are mostly for friends and family who have been there from the beginning.

You really want to read it early? Email the publisher. The publicity email can usually be found easily on their website. Can't get your hands on an early copy? Well...that sucks but nothing you can do besides that step.

Wait for it to release. Buy it, request it from your library, or borrow it from someone. Authors or not there to give you the books for free. They're there to write the books. That's it. You don't belong in the dms.
