And I line up quite strongly with Gillibrand on 99% of issues but I really do not know if she has the dumb political intangibles / narrative to actually be seen as a President; she does however feel like a superb VP

I had a thought the other day that I need to pass on, which is: Democrats should nominate whichever candidate can effectively neutralize Trump THROUGH THE USE OF HUMOR.

That is to say, basically the polar opposite of freakout/scold. Obama would be not too far from what I mean, Reagan even closer. The key move should be sort of, "Ahh, that Donald...., heh heh... there he goes again." (You see the Reagan touch there.)
