i know you can't control your fans, but you should also be aware of your own influence. it's irresponsible to not be. he could have easily brought light to the situation without naming the person. it was entirely unnecessary, and it made the hate they received much more personal.

okay, but he said that the captions were on one of his most viewed videos. meaning that there was a HIGH chance for ANYONE to PUBLICLY see it. the “fan” obviously knew what they were doing. they abused his respect and took advantage of him to gain followers.

so even if they feel exposed, they really shouldn’t be because, like i said, they PUBLICLY put themselves out there by mentioning their wattpad account onto one of jame’s MOST VIEWED videos. they didn’t think about the consequence of their actions. Cause & Effect.

again, i know they put themselves out there, but i doubt they got anywhere near as much attention from that as they did from james namedropping them. just bc they put themselves out there doesn't mean he had to. it was unnecessary.

and again, they're allegedly 12. it's not like this was an adult making the decision. it's a literal child. that doesn't make them not responsible for their actions, but it should make people more lenient towards them. they're still growing and learning.

what do you mean? what are they making a decision on? they put their account on there knowing it’ll give them attention. they put it on there without jame’s consent. he had no idea that those were the subtitles. the alleged child’s behavior is flat out disrespectful.

those subtitles might have made some fans confused so jame’s probably wanted to clear the air and publicly address it. i’m all for private confrontation, but this situation had to be handled publicly for his audience to understand.

publicly addressing it is fine. that's not the problem. he could have done so without namedropping. that's all i'm saying. i'm not excusing the kid's behavior or saying it's okay. i'm saying i think james handed it badly imo.

i respect your opinion, but imo, i feel like he handled it just fine and used the screenshot to prove that what he is saying is true. he most likely wants to use it as an example so that
@TeamYouTube sees it to change the subtitles and discuss the abuse of the system.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
