@stevebutts That actually helps. I sit about 9ft away and was coming to the conclusion that 50" would be too small.
The task of picking out a new television has me paralyzed. At this point I don't even know what size I want anymore.

@stevebutts Hah - I didn't even think to question it (shame on me). Rule still justifies my predilection towards a 55" - 60" though.
