At this point it really seems like some of the networks are grasping for reasons not to call this election now, and it’s hard to imagine it isn’t that they’re afraid of tr*mp supporters.
No one wants to delegitimize the process. They don't want to give a reason for a recount. Smooth and steady, and there will be fewer reasons to drag this out afterwards, I guess. I can understand the conceit, but anyone who thinks Biden hasn't won this is full of malarkey.
