Yes - early stage investors are looking for 100x. Often ppl go around touting other #s. Not 10x. Not 2x. But 100x. Obv most cos will not be 100x. But that is what early VCs hope will happen if everything goes right.

putting this here in case anyone wants to see how the #s play out. Tl;dr -100x makes up for all the cos that shut down + never exited (<—-this is key) -even w 100x winner, the fund still doesn't make much money - hah 😲 Yet everyone wants to be a VC.
