Interesting line from Wilson on the earnings call suggesting Apex Legends may return to mobile. Seems to hint that it might do so without its development partner, which was Tencent-owned PUBG Mobile dev Lightspeed Studios.

I don't play Apex personally but this I felt was the most surprising of the three game shutdowns today. By all accounts I thought Apex, including mobile, was doing pretty well. It won multiple awards. Curious what the issues were that led to this and if they were co-dev related.

Something going on with the partner studio is probably the only explanation considering that Apex Mobile seemed to be doing well by all accounts, so this wouldn't surprise me.
Still, I hope Rhapsody & Fade are carried over to the console/PC version if Respawn & EA 100% own them.

I wonder if they will do what fortnite did and not focus on an app of the game- and rely on the Nvidia GeForce Now to stream to mobile 🤔
