Oh no that seems easy I think I'm eating out of a pumpkin this weekend. I have tomatoes too so I can easy make my own sauce for it. Alright alright, hear me out: Would adding some pumpkin puree be too much? Because I have like a 1/4cup in my freezer rn.

not a bit. that's like the perfect amount. this particular recipe had me hollow out a pie punpkin and gave me the option to include a bit of the goop from inside it (no seeds) to the meat to give it more punpkin flavor. I did. it's grand.

the recipe is from Legends Cookbook, I can share if you like! but basically: peppers, onions, garlic, tomato puree and sauce, some white wine and vinegar, salt and spices, ground beef, and punpkin of course

YES! enjoy advice, if you want it: the olives and capers in it were weird and I would omit them. I was generous with the cloves and nutmeg and I do not regret that.

Gf hates olives and capers so those were guaranteed to be omitted regardless. But yes! I always welcome cooking advice

maybe. there's a part where the beef is cooking and you're just adding sherry and stuff to taste, so maybe hold em til that point and add em if you feel the spirit move you!

I did not go out of my WAY to scoop out the extra pumpkin flesh and eat it, but I did eat the bits that came off normally, they were good :)
