Anyone with experience in Adobe Audition know why, when I take my single interview audio track that sounds exactly how I want it and open it in multitrack and add a musical intro, all of a sudden my interview sounds louder and super echoey?

if I go back to the isolated track it sounds great but if I try to play the multitrack session with musical intro and interludes it sounds awful

Does it have an "Essential Sound" tag on it? This panel is usually on the right. Essential Sound has a bunch of presets on it that I make sure to never use.pic.twitter.com/pGXatxepQ1

another thing that could be doing it is if you're placing a Mono file into a Stereo Track, you wanna make sure those two things match. Right click the in timeline to make a new one of what you needpic.twitter.com/RoYOTgeKqF
