Media and content creator types, what are some things that PR reps/game devs/publishers do that you hate or wish they'd stop doing, or at least that they could improve upon?pic.twitter.com/5ExnVFQMIV

1) Always send me some nice rectangular assets/standard screenshots or photos in the size of standard screenshots with stuff you want me to cover

2) No staggered embargos. I hate embargos where someone else has three hours exclusive on me, because every outlet that wasn't offered the news up front will just write the news based on the original story and beat me to it. (you all are incredible thank you!)

(also for what it's worth I've never had either of these issues with Evolve)

Still, I think we can work on the image thing! It may not be totally consistent.1 odpowiedź 0 podanych dalej 1 polubiony -

It's more an issue as a biz journo when companies announce funding/new biz divisions/whatever and have no images whatsoever for their company. Or mobile games, where all screenshots are vertical. :(

Yup yup, makes sense. Wonder if it'd be helpful for us to pull together a resource of, like, "all the things you should provide when you're announcing ____." (We're working on something like this for social, but to do so on the PR end makes sense, I think?)

I've been asked to talk about that somewhat frequently to PR/comms/indie dev audiences so it seems like a question a lot of folks have!
