BUT, what I do love is how it successfully riffs on its central conceit: "If a friend asks for help, you help him." What if it's not a friend, but someone you kind of vaguely dislike? What if your friend has hurt you? What if your friend is acting against their own self-interest?

I loved the show's growing focus on being a supportive community that takes care of its own, and how that played out in the final episodes. It was a good vibe to end on for now, esp with covid, etc. Looking forward to season 9.

anyway, next up is Castlevania, then What We Do In The Shadows. Also watching the latest season of Kim's Convenience with Imran. Do NOT recommend anything else to me, I will forget about it immediately, I only watch one thing at a time -- two max -- very slowly.

I can't believe I spent as much time as I did watching all of Game of Thrones, I could fit at least two or three more satisfying shows into that window, smdh.

I was really enjoying Letterkenny, the 1st season was amazing, the 2nd was great and then, just out of no where, it immediately (to me) stopped being good and I can't figure out why. Are you saying it returns, even somewhat, to form in the later series?

I think it has a lot of ups and downs, to be honest. I fell off right around the same time you did, but kept going. I think it hits a stride around the middle of the show when it starts focusing on Letterkenny as a community and less on the individual groups as separate entities
