in my English classes we all started putting pens above our lips as fake mustaches and speaking in very dramatic voices whenever we wanted to say or read something that sounded very pretentious. we called it our "literary scholar" impression.

lol I don't do this on the podcast because this was an inside joke from a decade ago that no one finds funny except a group of ten English majors who went to my college.
