I think there's still a lot of reasons to be skeptical about Stadia, but I think having that many major publishers on board at launch (even with older games) is meaningful. If they all see something there, there is probably something there.
Even that's meaningful though, right? If it's that much easier to be on Stadia than on other platforms, it bodes well for the service having a solid library going forward, which is one of admittedly multiple components to it doing well over time.

I mean in the sense of already working PC versions, the Stadia platform doesn't really have proprietary technology that requires reworking it in any significant way or at the expense of any other opportunity costs. In that sense, it works as an "Also, on Stadia" thing.

Which 100% has value! If you're everyone's second platform, or the platform where you can access the PC versions of games without the hardware, that's useful. But that comes with momentum, which is hard to gain without compelling reasons for people to spread word of mouth.
