Totally correct. Will get some broccoli tonight. Aside from being a hyper-nutritious superfood, broccoli made soft with a few minutes of boiled steaming (add a bit of butter if you need some lipids) makes a great flavor-neutral side to many meals.

Various medical things made me really anemic the past few months, so broccoli has been added to my diet! Just had some with lunch.

I've always been anemic, so if you don't get enough from your food, there's a rock solid cure I found. Cheap iron and vitamin C supplements bought at the grocery store. Take one iron pill with one C pill with a meal. Vitamin C greatly increases iron uptake. Cured my anemia.

I have iron pills that I take on days I do yoga so I don't get dizzy during sun salutations. Can't take every day...........they make bathroom visits uncomfy if I do.
