This place was TINY. one of those beloved hole in the walls. So tiny strangers were sitting together. I ate to a delightful chorus of people speaking Vietnamese, Finnish, English, and whatever else. The pho was fantastic.

I had never had a gin and tonic before but my personal rule for new food experiences is to try the local/house specialty. I ordered one with some orange-ness to it, figuring I wouldn't be able to tell whether or not it was a "good" gin and tonic or not.

Travel makes you better. Being a stranger makes you better, both more confident in yourself but humble toward your place in humanity. If you ever get a chance, go somewhere new and explore.
