a quick note too on #WorldMentalHealthDay that mental health applies to everyone, not just folks struggling with Big Heavy Things. Just because you haven't broken your leg before doesn't mean you shouldn't get regular check-ups with your doctor, right?

Therapy can be good and helpful for everyone, and if you even have an inkling you could benefit from it, you probably could. It's also sometimes good to examine your own routines and attitudes and make sure you are making time and space for adequate self-care.

Normalize talking about mental health like we do physical help. It helps everyone to have these conversations and services be a part of our everyday lives.

Anyway, I'm going to start some therapy tomorrow to examine some of my day to day concerns and thought processes. None of them are Big or Scary or Urgent! And that's fine! I think it will be a good thing.

Yup! I've got some thought processes that I think are unhealthy. Not heinous! Not awful! Just not great maybe, and would like to work on making them better, as well as do some work to get to know myself better. It's very good probably.
