    More dorkery for this vacation. Got a bunch of Acurite temperature sensors spread out around the house. I'm monitoring them with rtl_433 and have the data being collected by Prometheus. Now I have this pretty dashboard in Grafana.

    Scanning some 100 year old family photos. I know which part of the family this is, but only one of every 40 or so is actually labeled with a person's name. Hopefully we'll be able to infer who some of these people are from apparent age and known genealogy data.

    Fun oral history of SCL's Y2K preparation. The part I find most interesting is that they had to reimplement a mainframe app for which they no longer had the source. So they disassembled it, REed the logic and rewrote in Fortran (?!) to run on Solaris. For the maths, I guess?
