I'm in no way advocating "waiting for anyone" Alan Watts said it best: "The buddhists don't share the view of westerners that 'everyone must be saved'. They know not everyone should be saved." But you shouldn't conflate using a platform for personal gain with "saving' people.

I all too often see people desiring to 'wake people' from their status as a member of the walking dead. This attitude is the reason that so many people have created generation after generation of progeny in direct defiance of natural selection. No wonder humans are so weak.

I am of the mindset the Founding Fathers were indeed minarchists, but they had certain prerequisites to being an "individual", so individual rights were intended for individuals and collectivists did not have rights. 1/2

I assume they were aware that giving collectivists rights would endanger the right of individuals, which is something Sargon and Spencer argued over for a very long time, Spencer arguing correctly that a group will always undermine individual rights. 2/3

Spencer didn't seem to realize the Founding Fathers didn't give people like SPencer rights for exactly that reason. Liberty is not the right to "do as thou wilt" but the right to "self-govern" Anyone incapable of governing their own actions had no rights under the old laws. 3/3

The downfall of western society was the liberal notion that "everyone is an individual". Aristotle knew this was nonsense and the work of behavioral psychologists has proven it. Yet, we still have people like Sargon pearl-clutching.https://youtu.be/QereR0CViMY

A system in which individuals have liberty but are protected from group mobs by paramilitary forces. Oddly this seems to be similar to what we have now but the mob is allowed to swell to uncontrollable levels due to the nature of consumerist economics. More people = more sales.
