    It’s nonobvious, but Xiaomi may be one of the best design companies in the world. Coming from the US, I’m absolutely gobsmacked seeing their latest releases. Don’t get distracted by their half decent imitations of others — in many cases, they’ve delivered a superior product.

    Great teams treat candidate rejections with just as much care as offers. It’s insane to see folks screw this up, especially with younger talent. Why? You have no idea how they’ll grow in 18 months. For all you know, you just benched MJ in high school 🙏🏼

    Muji has helped fill a gap in just about every part of my move to Paris. I’m reminded: Muji and Braun were born from the necessity of reconstruction after WWII in Japan & Germany — and became 2 of the greatest design companies ever. Good design is essential.
