    The UK govt says Brexit is 'done' but their priority in negotiations is 'to restore economic and political independence on 1 January 2021'. Which their 'Brexit' evidently didn't achieve. So Brexit is not done, not even close to done. Idiots.

    My blogpost on handling state persistence and data migrations for our project with discriminated unions is out. Works like a charm with binary serializers, which is important to us. Might be a bit defensive, but better safe than sorry.

    Guilty of a bug in production due to an optional field. Bragging about lack of nulls in F# won't help if we don't make our models tight. There is a great talk learn from. "Maybe not" by Rich Hickey.

    I have definitely solved bugs in dreams that I had been working on the day prior. Sleep can be a great aid to problem solving - whether you actually find the solution during sleep or not!

    Also i have had weird dreams around distributed systems consensus, but that stopped in my mid 30s. I have had nightmares around blob storage.
