    I read a quote today from a highly regarded investor: "... the goal of the fund raise is to cover the burn waiting for the next fund raise". To me this is just so broken. Is this how Silicon Valley thinks?

    How can the healthcare experience in the US be so expensive and at the same time SO. INCREDIBLY. BAD. The doctors are great, but the whole apparatus is rude, impersonal and frankly inaccurate.

    I always fully define data sources in plots. mtcars$mpg rather than data = mtcars. It's longer, but I think more readable to future-me.
