    Microsoft just updated their TraceProcessor library to 0.3.0. It contains a bunch of small breaking changes to names and types so I updated my samples and my blog post.

    Unfortunately it is not as powerful and flexible as GDB/LLDB I wish I could format (cast) my memory address input value according to some predefined struct and not only single PODs.

    I promised at that we would open-source SYCL for NVIDIA GPUs using Intel's DPC++ SYCL compiler and here it is. It's a work-in-progress, but being actively developed. You can try it out today enabling DPC++ SYCL on NVIDIA GPUs without using OpenCL. You might like hipSYCL too

    Does anybody know if Visual Studio's memory view is supposed to work OOTB for Unity debugging? I think it should in standard .NET but there were bugs in some VS versions. Do I need a special VS version or special settings (managed compatibility)? Can't get it to work right now.

    Results are preliminary, but it seems so far that Godot is now the third most used game engine in the Global Game Jam, surpassing Construct and Game Maker for the first time (and trailing Unity and Unreal). Happy to know that our quick organic growth continues...
