What are the most unconventional and useful methods you have used to learn a foreign language?

I switched my phone to the foreign language (French in this case). That meant most apps changed to the foreign language as well, which in turn means words I find I use a lot get displayed in French. So I can now say a lot of Pokemon Go phrases in French, for example
