    In 1971, Roy Harvey, foreman on a WTC tower, told to me how they were built as boxes with exteriors bearing most of the weight of >100 concrete floors poised to fall like dominoes. So I was sure on 9/11 that both were going down & felt powerless and guilty for saying nothing.

    The biggest act of terror in the U.S. prior to 9/11 destroyed the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City in 1995. But the "war on terror" waited until 2001. It would be useful now to look much deeper into the causes of both and their echoes today.

    On this day in 2001 I thought we had the wrong president at the wrong time for the wrong reasons. I still think what went wrong since then is, to a fair extent, on him. However, just gave a speech for the ages in . Credit where due. Hats off.
