    I wish DDG was better w searching in non-english languages. If I search for よつばとどんぐり on DDG I get some Yotsuba&! pics but none of the specific chapter I'm searching for and not very many. Google has lots of pics and links for the exact right thing.

    I suppose the flat UI brainworms help mitigate the other quirk Electron shares with 90s era Java. One flat UI looks pretty much like any other regardless of whether the controls are native or not.

    Also electron is pretty bad too. It's like 90s era Java. Massively bloated and broken in weird ways. Like if I RDP into a multi-monitor machine and Slack, for ex, is in the "wrong" monitor it's not pushed into the right one like a native app. It's offscreen until killed.

    UI via embedded chromium is also cancer. Especially if it's embedded in a video game. Especially especially if you're an established AAA dev that already has developed rock solid UIs without it.

    Well, that didn't take much digging. With the stock photo from Poland, the fake logo from Indonesia, and the talking points from the Premier's Office, the only question is where the money came from to pay for all of these full page ads.
