7-8% is a huge number of children. Innocent children who are relying on adults to protect them from a debilitating & potentially degenerative condition!
It is obviously important that children can attend school but we must invest in urgently improving ventilation and look at other strategies eg rapid testing, fully vaccinated teachers, vaccinating children if research supports and supporting families to keep sick children home…
