    I remember, quite vividly, when I said electing 🍊 would lead to a constitutional crisis, people laughing in my face and telling me I was 1) overreacting and 2) trying to guilt them into voting. I wonder what they think now. I have to wonder, because I stopped talking to them.

    Agreed! As a reader, nothing is more annoying than a series that just drags on. Especially when the writer feels like they need to constantly escalate beyond things that already seemed over the top. Different big bads are fine, but each one overshadowing the previous, no thanks.

    It's not about burnout. It's about endings being an important part of what stories are. I like endings. I don't enjoy stories that don't have them.

    This. So very much this. Though even worse, I recently came across a vegan option with blue cheese...

    Just to be clear - the only actual things about conference food/bev that i feel strongly about: 1) condiments go on the side not already on the sandwich. People have allergies, and also you can’t “eat around” mustard. 2) provide lots of water and make it easy.

    Short Thread: staying with some friends and last night after everyone went to bed I could not figure out how to turn off the large ceiling light in their living room. There is a wall controller that seemed fairly straightforward.

    My Valve Index arrived 6 days ago, and due to timing issues, I still haven't taken anything out of the box other than the setup guide. Now that I'm at home again, it's rubbing salt in the wounds caused by having to do certain conversions for a customer today. 😅
