If the GOP were still a free-market/free-trade party, like it pretended to be there for a short while, *this* would have been its main attack on IRA: it's protectionist AF & will restrict international trade in cleantech, slowing the transition. Instead its attack was: deeerp.

It was a small moment but remember in one of the 2020 DNC debate E. Warren said something like, "we're going to produce green technologies and share them to rest of the world AS LONG AS THEY'RE PRODUCED HERE. And hardly any commentators said anything about that.
