        Just listened to a podcast with the author who described this poem as a "disaster barometer". Every time something awful happens, her twitter mentions blow up.

        I love this poem. Frankly it's this idea that makes me feel okay about my desire to have kids, even in the midst of climate change. They could be people who help make this place beautiful.
