Given that 1/2 of the humans I know are not conscious, I have to wonder if there is some over-anthropomorphizing going on? We do need to be humane. Where is the line?
Before you slice that cheese or pour that milk, ask yourself, if you were treated as a commodity, would you call it a humane life?
