    I've made an animation showing the apparent retrograde motion of Mars seen from Earth and the old model of epicycles. I simplified the orbits as circles. Maybe if I have enough time I'll make a more accurate version with elliptical orbits.

    Quick story. I went to college with Terry and knew him through our shared political science classes. In his teens he started a business sealing driveways in his hometown of Syracuse, NY. It was hot, back-breaking work but he kept at it and made it a success. VA needs Terry! VOTE!
