Thanks for the interest, I'm going to try this! :) I commit to doing at minimum a rushed crappy one for Feb, and a proper one for March. If you're interested, please get some sort of email address to me, either here or at the link below.https://drossbucket.wordpress.com/contact/

Should also add that I'd also be very interested to read something like this from others, if anyone else wants to give it a go!

Yes! I think there's bunch of psychological shifts that a newsletter has vs blog to both the writer AND reader. Is def super good idea!
-
Also so many interesting framings I'd like to see and how they shift. Recording convos pairwise among a group and sharing to group--etc. Also even just separating drafting from medium you send on (ie draft on paper and then send via email) has huge shifts. Love this!

Cheers for the tag R. I am literally putting the finishing touches on a personal blog-y newletter-y thing for the explicit purpose of writing practice.

Imho this is one of those things where you just gotta go with whatever you're most excited/motivated by. I don't think any particular format is really superior; what matters is finding the format that inspires you
-
That said, it's definitely true that every different configuration is Different. It feels different, it's interesting in its own way for its own reasons, and it elicits different outputs/responses depending on the context
