Are your math visualizations in color?
Mine are all black-and-white, presumably in imitation of diagrams in textbooks. Just realized from this @St_Rev tweet that I may be missing an important tool.

Ah, weird, I'm the opposite. People are always saying a load of words at me to explain things, which are normally useless if I can't see or do the thing. Text is better than speech as at least there is something visual to keep my focus.

The visuals thing isn't purely aphantasia either. My boyfriend is also aphantasic (more so than me - I have limited visualisation under some circumstances and a reasonably good ability to do whatever "visualisation but for sound" is called) and he finds diagrams very helpful.
