Today I fly to UK, I’ll be there til end August. It’s a family trip: I’m going to spend time with Mum. She’s 85 and her health is fast deteriorating. Many people I would love to see in Britain, but it’s not possible this time around.

Arrived! It’s 8am, they’re playing Scissor Sisters at the car rental collection place and customers are dancing. Slightly surreal.
