I'm currently entertaining a theory that there's an interesting cluster of ideas somewhere in the intersection of Gendlen (Focusing), Merleau-Ponty (Phenomenology of Perception) and Keagen (Developmental Stages). Anyone who has done the reading want to just hand me the insight?
I've read two Kegan books (Evolving Self and In Over Our Heads). Only half of Focusing though and not practiced it at all. It's in my current (too large) pile of half-read books so should get back to it eventually!

According to
@garybasin you can get much of Gendlin from a brief youtube video, which makes it especially inexcusable that I haven’t -
The actual main Focusing book is also a 160 page small form paperback. It takes like an afternoon to read. I found reading the longer "Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapy" helpful but not essential.
