Cognitive representationalism & “sub-minds” is a beautifully crafted pseudo science, based on belief priors. It’s like homeopathy, presented in intricate technical detail as truth, then used as hermeneutic framework for ‘how the mind works’.

It's Leslie's 'Pretense and Representation'.
