      I’ve been casually looking around to find other people who have large numbers of descendants. It probably follows a power law, blah blah. But it would be interesting to see what correlates with it.

      That tree is confusing to me as it also includes postdoc-like relationships - I'm also a descendant of Bohr according to that, via Wheeler, but Wheeler actually studied with him after his PhD. Worth bearing in mind if you just want direct advisor-student.
