Yeah not to name names but I have been learning groovy for work, and I like the syntax -also it's very nice to be able to script on the JVM- but when I look at the suggested patterns I'm like "oh no they have a terminal case of Engineering that I do not wish to contract"

Ok I just unthinkingly googled 'groovy patterns' and got the obvious https://www.google.co.uk/search?hs=RAH&q=groovy+patterns&tbm=isch&source=univ&client=ubuntu&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjMxtqf2ZPgAhUrsaQKHR2YAzAQsAR6BAgBEAE&biw=1225&bih=618 … ... then I added 'programming' and found what you're talking about. Yes I wouldn't want to contract that either!
