I have occasionally entertained the notion of just using "weird" or indeed "weirdbrained" for this but it doesn't quite work for general use despite being in some ways a better term

And yeah I feel the "not sure how to drive this thing" pretty hard. I think I've mostly figured it out but I'm not sure I'm not driving with the handbrake on
