I came across a funny example of problem formation yesterday (cc @Meaningness).
@thilogross, a researcher in Bristol (where I live), showed that Bristol's version of the Königsberg bridge problem (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Bridges_of_K%C3%B6nigsberg …) *is* soluble, and walked the resulting 33 mile circuit...
Funny, didn't realise you'd have walked so much of Bristol! I've done a lot of it at some point, but not some of the easternmost bridges or all the ones over the Trym.

Coombe Dingle, Westbury, Blaise Castle area was one of my favorites. Another: Ashton Court out to Dundry. Pub in Dundry is an excellent destination :)

I also like the Avon path out to Pill (not so keen on the Avonmouth motorway bridge but there are good views). And the Frome river walk out to Winterbourne and Chipping Sodbury.
