Yeah I've been sitting on a post that explains this in more depth, which is what prompted those tweets (it was mostly a deliberately obscure joke in that context), but I decided it was a bit too much of a post so I'm trying to break it up into a bunch of smaller ones.

This isn't actually one of the smaller ones but the notebook is deliberately a place where I can put half-finished and poorly edited thoughts which may or may not be refined into real blog posts :-)
