I have now finished reading "Shop Class as Soul Craft" and I think I would recommend it to anyone who is unlikely to be sympathetic to its position and steer clear anyone who is likely to be sympathetic.

Interesting. People recommended The World Beyond Your Head to me as a bit less so than Shop Class as Soul Craft, so that's good calibration thanks! (I don't personally feel the need to read more of him, but I was wondering whether to recommend that in preference)
Yeah I've only read that one and also don't fancy reading another book by him, so I can't compare. (I wrote some notes/ranting on TWBYH so can email you that if interested?)
