Noone is above the law and for as many times is required we will continue to enforce the Lagos road laws. Yesterday my convoy stumbled on a police officer and a soldier breaking the one way law. We will continue to educate all residents to help ensure our laws are respected.

I was at Abule Egba today on behalf of Mr. Governor and it is disheartening the level of wickedness perpetuated by pipeline vandals that resulted in this incident. I spoke with the residents and as a government we will partner with them to restore & secure the area

We must work together to ensure man made incidents like Abule Egba are avoided. Security and information gathering along volatile corridors will increase and a stronger synergy with communities must happen. We all have a role to play.

My thoughts and prayers are with the families & businesses affected in the unfortunate incident at Abule Egba. We are thankful for the brave members of LASEMA & our fire service that swung into action working all night to reduce the impact. Pipeline Vandals will be shown no mercy

I am heartbroken about the unfortunate incident at Abule Egba caused by continuous pipeline vandalism and total disregard for live and property. We will be unforgiving to vandals & increase security along volatile corridors. Our thoughts and prayers are with families in the area

Yesterday, on my way back from my visit to the training center of our teachers, I made a stop at the Bariga market. I spoke with the business men and women, and encouraged them to adhere to environmental rules by keeping their environment hygienic for them and their customers.

This exercise is required in line with the plan to increase the output of the IPP in response to the growing need to sustain the “Light-Up Lagos” project initiated by the preceding administration as well as absorbing more public offices in the state owned power grid.

We carried out an inspection tour of the Alausa Independent Power Plant (IPP) today. It is a state owned IPP built 7 years ago to provide electricity to most of the public institutions in Ikeja whilst powering public infrastructure including streetlights on major highways.
