    There were plenty of obstacles to women’s careers before the pandemic. When schools went remote in the spring, it was theoretically possible that childcare would be distributed among genders. It is 2020, after all. THREAD 1/

    YEAR-ROUND ORGANIZING IS ESSENTIAL. Community relationships should not be transactional or trendy. We must invest in real change moving forward and real engagement, or we lose any contribution to the narrative on the ground. Anything less is disingenuous.

    How do you make it less effective? Invest in year-round deep canvassing. Data shows that this kind of work helps blunt the force of racial resentment at the polls. If you’re always running away from convos about race, then the only ppl owning it are GOP. You’ll lose.
