Kids in Florida, at least in my county, have been in school for a complete month already and we're not having any problems.

When the elderly faculty and staff at schools start showing up in droves at the hospital I promise I won’t say I told you so.

Doctor, all those are low paying jobs, expendable people according to people like you and all these business owners. Teachers have a union that actually tries to defend them. Life isn't without risk, but these aren't soldiers who sign up for that possibilty of loss of life.

Uh... a lot of those establishments are not open or are open only under restrictions. And... you can learn from home. Also one deals with adults and the other with children. Reducing risk =/= risk elimination. Hence seatbelts. This doesn’t seem difficult to understand.

Previously you stated physicians should not espouse political opinions. Glad you changed your mind. This seems a straw man. Everyone wants kids in school. What policies are in place to protect kids, teachers, and their families? What are the go/stop rules?

I am Tweeting as a private citizen and it’s not political. Protect kids from what? Their risk is less than flu. Teachers are essential workers. Like resp techs, EMTs, nurses, docs, bus drivers, etc. Listen to this. I wager you will be persuaded.https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/plenary-session/id1429998903?i=1000492442911 …
