Patient: I’m not excited about getting shots. Me: How would you feel about warts on your penis? Patient: I’ll take the shots. Me: Cool. Pro tip: Never had a boy decline HPV vaccination when offered that alternative.

Idk. Penis warts seem to be more convincing. I think bc preteen boys really can’t understand what cancer is. But they know that warts on their penis would be bad.

Back in January, when I was giving Colin his Px. and shots, he asked "What does this HPV bug do?" "Well, first it gives you these nasty little warts that hurt like hell during sex. Then they get bigger, and your cock rots off." "Put it in my right arm, Dad."

Actually, I have more people argue about giving the vaccines to their daughter than to their son. They usually tell me it’s about “side effects” but I suspect that it’s about keeping their daughter chaste.

Also remind him that if he’s not gay, he’s gonna be having sex with women who do have a cervix, and to whom he might not want to give HPV to. 🤷🏻‍♀️
