After a couple of weeks of our son having a sore wrist we took him to A&E & he’d broken it. A sporty chap he ends up in A&E regularly but at 28, and living away from home, he takes himself! Was concerned when he told me he was in A&E with concussion & he’d driven himself there!

That's a very "parent" thing to do though... my mum told me to stop skiving and go back to work when work had got me a taxi to the GP who told me I had migraine, a week later I was fighting for my life, had to spend 6 mths in hospital and still have brain/nerve damage

I sent my youngest to school with a burst appendix for 4 days! I thought he was avoiding an English test. His lower intestine formed a pocket containing the rupture to protect him from bad parenting! He’s 22 now and reminds me regularly of my failings!!!!!
