    Make it easier to do test automation (e.g. for UI test automation), and people will actually eat their greens and do the right things. Mitigate your most important architectural risks rather than treating everything with equal priority.

    Lots of things I like about Lighthouse, and really appreciate all the work that has gone into it. But really wish there was more of a focus on individual metrics and how they impact user experience. Too much focus on a single number

    Seems like the scoring UI in should have giant warning indicators when you’re shown a 100 performance score for a test performed on a desktop browser with fast WiFi

    SSR means progressive enhancement, more robust pages, faster initial load, streaming content, better search engine visibility (some crawlers run JS, but not nearly as frequently), etc. A lot of websites categorically shouldn't be SPAs
